Does Apple's white-text-on-green-bubbles actually violate their own accessibility guidelines or is it just really really close?

@nyquildotorg what would the difference be (other than the colours, of course) to the white-text-on-blue-bubbles that iMessages-to-iMessages uses? I see both each day, and they are both quite accessible.

Slightly on tangent, the reason of the green bubbles hate is not related to their colour. 😅

@nyquildotorg font size can be set by the user, and apps supporting Dynamic Type will adapt. Apple doesn’t show numbers, but a slider. You get to set the initial size on first setup, but it can be changed anytime.

@nyquildotorg interesting! I didn’t notice it before but, indeed, the blue bubbles are more legible at a smaller size. 🤔

@cheeaun I go to Phanpy settings (Safari, iOS 17 public beta 5), and enable notifications. I get out of settings, and go back in, and the notification tickboxes are all unchecked again. It seems it isn’t sticking.

@cheeaun, what subset of markdown is currently supported by Phanpy? I noticed that this, for example, renders, but blockquotes do not. Is there something documented somewhere on this regard?

@cheeaun, is there a way to stop the confirmation for boosts? It is randomly not working right while on mobile. I would love to be able to boost without the confirmation popping up (just like I can with favourite now).

@cheeaun when entering a thread, the thread line doesn’t align to the chat bubble (https://github.com/cheeaun/phanpy/issues/32). I noticed that by changing margin-left on .status.large .actions from -66px to -55px aligns it. What do you think? I know nothing about CSS.

@cheeaun unrelated, but perhaps a bug too? I have enabled "Display from which app you sent a post" on my instance (Mastodon, latest), but that isn't showing on Phanpy anymore. I swear it once showed.

@cheeaun I think I was able to see on Phanpy when someone used Phanpy to post/reply, as it will show, just like the vanilla Mastodon client does. Was I wrong, did I imagined that? 😅

This popup -- "If you turn Bluetooth off you will not be able to use your Bluetooth devices." -- is not true.

You can still use your devices, but they won't connect with the one that gives this scary warning.

@Luke hi there! Have been perusing your site, some interesting read, some nice clicks. I am curious, do you truly hand craft those pages? No generator of any kind behind them? I like how they look on mobile. I also love your choice of font!
