@aulia should be a bug on Ivory — they stripped out the link if there's a preview for the link. As for the preview card link going to the wrong URL, that's Mastodon's bug where it strips the characters after '#' in the URL — seems to be fixed in latest Mastodon code, if you see my post on mastodon.social instance instead.

@cheeaun yeah, on both apps the preview card shows Phanpy but takes me to the image feed anyway.

@cheeaun sure, I mean, shouldn’t the preview show the … preview? Technically it is rendered on Phanpy but the preview looked like it was linking to the login page. Don’t know if it’s something you can adjust or worth spending time on.

@aulia it's a longstanding bug and perhaps unfixable due to Phanpy being a static web app. The previews need to be dynamically generated.

@david oh almost forgot about that bug. Interestingly, the preview card link is correct (with hash) on mastodon.social instance 🤔 maybe the bug is fixed? 🤔

@david yeah, mastodon.social runs on latest code if I'm not mistaken, so I suspect it's fixed at some point 🤔 - so will need to wait for new version of Mastodon to test 😬
