Update vom Hausrotschwanznest 🐦

Ich habe jetzt schon ein paar Tage keinen Schnabel mehr gesehen und habe schon das Schlimmste vermutet. Allerdings flattern Mama und Papa noch fleißig aus und ein, und heute habe ich mit Freude festgestellt, dass sich dieses Federflauschknäuel bewegt.

Mama Hausrotschwanz nahm mir das aber übel, sie ist sehr laut klackend etwa 1,5 Meter über meinem Kopf herumgeflogen und hat mir deutlich zu verstehen gegeben: hau ab, Mensch!

I can't believe that Tool's Fear Inoculum is almost 5 years old!
If one album aged like fine wine, it is this one. I liked it from the start, but now I love it. There's so much to discover on there, no wonder it took them that long to finish it. They wanted it to sound perfect, and they achieved exactly that. Perfection.

The only issue I have with it is that I can only listen to it when I know I'm not gonna be interrupted. And those times are unfortunately rare.

@yourfutureex well I thought it is a bold statement to say that Black Sabbath is not metal (which it looked like to me) on a metalhead instance 😂

And Deep Purple released one of the first metal albums ever, but to call them a metal band... nah, they're not. Just like Zeppelin, although both had major influences of course. Just like Queen.

Of course you know all that, I just wanted to mansplain.

and I, we have an "it is complicated" relationship.

There's a 95% chance that I like the riffs.
But there's only a 50% chance that I like the vocal style (looking at you Bolt Thrower).

Now the new Gatecreeper, that is something I can enjoy in full 🤘
