@jon , fyi, apparently there'll be buses replacing the train in the San Sebastian-Vitoria route until the end of the year.

Less good however is the Visรฉ ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช - Maastricht ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ ticketing

โ‚ฌ6,10 for a 13.1km trip taking 15 mins is quite expensive I think... 47 cents per kilometre

@jon I've been crossing that border on a monthly basis and, while it's pretty reliable, there's such a massive change from the Eindhoven-Maastricht intercity to that train. If it weren't so late at night, I'd go by bike to Liege.

I have turned @wolfgangcramer 's headaches trying to find times of trains from Madrid to Badajoz into a blog post

No amount of investment in new lines or new trains can save railway companies from this - the firms need a change of attitude above all, because currently rail is failing on its own terms - blog post ๐Ÿ‘‡
