I don't think drinking alcohol at home alone is my thing. I did it two days in a row, and it really didn't do much for me. I think I'd rather chill with some hot chocolate instead.
@fujiwara I'm just testing out waters, trying to figure out the best way for me to unwind after a work week. I'm still new to this adulting thing :ChikaLurk:
Hold on a minute. I always thought Nana was a short manga, which is one of the reasons I'm interested in reading it. But apparently, it's actually just been on hiatus for 15 years?
Chika on your Fedi timeline? It's more likely than you think. A little earlier today thanks to a work meeting I gotta go to :btr_bocchi_pain: before I head out, please take time to see how cute Chika is with her dog Pes! They are so adorable! Also I love that simple outfit she's wearing in the first pic.
@fujiwara I don't even think most people care that much about the AI stuff and all the invasion of privacy. They're still gonna stick with the path of least resistance.
At most people will try out other options, but they'll probably just go back to their comfort zone.
Just look at Twitter. People have been pronouncing it dead for the past two years, and yet people are still actively using it.
And yeah, I'm not looking forward to entering the fabled Linux Community once I switch.
@fujiwara don't worry. I'm taking a break from my third bottle. I'm trying to find the sweet spot of how much I can drink without getting too buzzed, and it looks like it's two bottles. This is valuable information for the future.
@fujiwara hey! I'll have you know I can handle way more than three bottles. I just don't wanna get crunk at home while I'm playing visual novels
@fujiwara and my favorite part about drinking is about to come up. I just finished drinking, so I'm about to make myself some cup noodles. I always have noodles, rice porridge, or some other type of soup after drinking.
I've been wondering for a while now... What's with young Chinese guys wearing Chicago Bulls basketball attire?
It's a thing that I randomly spot. The Bulls haven't been relevant for quite some years now. Is it that they're wearing comfortable clothing from that era? That basketball pop-culture in China is still stuck there and that these clothes are still being mass produced?
I wouldn't be surprised if people wore Slam Dunk or Kuroko's Basketball cosplay, but the Chicago Bulls..? I know that Chinese tourists still like to take the iconic photo at the railway junction near Kamakurakoukoumae station but I've seen these dudes all over the place.
@anianimalsmoe I'm pretty sure I've also seen a decent amount of Chicago Bulls jerseys over here. I mean, it's pretty telling that it's the only American basketball team logo I recognize. These were probably also made in China.
I don't know anything about the NBA, but my guess is that people just really like the design. It also helps that the ox is part of the Chinese Zodiac.
