Non consentual gambling should be completely banned. Any games that have gambling should have the same scary labelling which cigarettes have in Europe.
Advertising and streaming games with gambling should also be illegal given how addictive and damaging it is.
And since you won’t be able to modify web pages, it will also mean the end of customization, either for looks (ie. DarkReader, Stylus), conveniance (ie. Tampermonkey) or accessibility....
Call me a filthy casual or whatever, but I use Windows, Linux and macOS equally. My preference is Linux but I don’t limit myself by just pretending the other two options don’t exist :)
In reality, if you’re a mid or large sized business, it won’t make any difference. My company continues to pay for RHEL for the piece of mind of knowing we get support (even though we never use it!)
I can totally see enthusiasts and small businesses going with cheaper options (aka free!)
It’s incredible how much the prices have fallen and that’s how it should be. Sure, I bought the 960 close to launch but still the difference is staggering....

This is a weird one, but I’d love to see a reimplementation of the sensor bar. The gyro controls haven’t cut it for me. I like how the Wii U game pad had the sensor bar built in to the bezel. The real engineering nightmare would be squeezing IR cameras into the top of the Joycon
Given many new handhelds coming on the scene and general disinterest of Microsoft to support the market, do you think SteamOS will take place of default OS the same way Android did on phones some time ago?
IMO Steam OS is the “Windows” for handhelds. Sure there will be lots of variants of Linux with custom skins (hell even Windows itself). However, I think Steam OS has already established itself as a comfortable default for most people due to how optimized the UI is for handhelds and the fact it works out of the box for most PC games without any tinkering 🙂
I remember being so intimidated by the game before playing it for the first time and struggling a lot with the beginning sections of the game. I don't know if it would make sense for them to ever make Dark Souls 4 since Elden Ring is the more popular franchise and they're probably going to stick with open world going forward. But I think it would be pretty sweet if they made a remake of Dark Souls with an open world or something.

Do you think there will ever be another game with "Dark Souls" in the title? Or will it all be Elden Ring going forward
