I think its a good game that you play with friends. It has a lot of minecraft (get resources and build shit) mechanics, so it is better played with others. I dont think you must play it now. Even if a lot of playes stop playing long the line, you can still enjoy the game with friends.
Also if I was an homophobic dad trying to make my child not gay, I would send it to a room full of girls dacing in tights, not to a room full of sweaty hairy men, touching each other and ending up in communal showers.
Its crazy to me that countries are urging women to have children. At least they should do what Christians and Muslims do and brain wash women to have children.
