@LeviKornelsen Sure is! The POD is... hefty. But it's 480 pages or so. I have the pdf and the physical book. I'm going to pour over it and hopefully give some thoughts.

For those who are curious, there are a plethora of 2nd edition* books that are amazing and give you a keen insight into the game. For instance... Life on Terra Nova.

@SJohnRoss It's a very fun and whimsical RPG meant to mimic 90s JRPGS and Miyazaki cartoons in tone. I'm looking for one or two people to join a game as I am losing players.

@SJohnRoss Yeah, sorry there isn't anything more informative. The dice mechanic is simple... you have an attribute from around 7-15, and you have to roll a d20 and get under or right on your attribute (if you get it exactly it's a crit). Nat 20 is a crit fail. You have a bunch of "aspects" related to your character that make the roll easier if you cleave to your character's backstory and area of expertise. Then you get class based abilities that makes you mildly awesome. Very rules light.

@katerberg I love Savage Rifts and am running a game of it right now. Having a blast. I might, maybe, run a game of the original Rifts rules someday, and I hear the new official spreadsheet for character tracking helps, but I've really enjoyed the streamlined rules of Savage Rifts so far.
