Listening to "These Walls" from Dua Lipa's new album leads to some deep cognitive dissonance as my brain wraps itself both around the lyrics and the upbeat chipper tempo of the melody. I strongly suspect that's the point; if so, it works quite well as a coda to New Rules.

Yes they do, for idiots like me who want to shoot 4K25 all-intra (also a V60 would probably work, but... not taking chances).

I always feel bad ordering off of Amazon but like.. I actually look for physical stores or stores that'll ship to me with decent return policies (sometimes I buy the wrong stuff!) and there's very few cases where I feel safe going elsewhere.

Does your native language use the same words or different words for "borrow" and "lend"?

And do you struggle with that distinction in English? (if English native, answer "diff words")

If someone let you use their car, you "borrowed their car", or they "lent you their car", but under no circumstance did they "borrow you their car" (which I've heard Polish people say).

Okay so today I learned that Asia Pacific regions are disabled by default in AWS and so even if you do latency-based routing in Route53 and have edge nodes over there, it doesn't matter because DNS might just take 200-300ms 🙃
