fibojoly,

And I bet it was all filler content and shitty roaming monster encounters. Open world design has gone too far!

fibojoly,

It means OP is terrified of being compared to someone else. With a virgin, no problem : they’ve no idea how bad you are, really. Unless they have friends, of course.

fibojoly,

I am typing this in Wuhan, listening to birds singing in the middle of the night. Are they owls? No, their sleep patterns have simply adapted to the constant neon lighting all over the place.

Depression and alcohol can also negatively affect sleep patterns.
Combine depression with all night TV binge watching or phone soon browsing for a greaaaat combo.

One can break cycles, though.

fibojoly,

I mean, there is the lovely notion that as a happy loving couple, you’ll discover your way together. And really, I think that’s a great romantic idea. In theory.
Unfortunately it seems to fall over if you couple it with the “do not talk about it ever” sex education.
So many unsatisfied women out there just living with the “well, that’s my life now” attitude. It’s tragic.

Former Blizzard President Thinks Tipping Game Creators Is Great Idea (80.lv)

By now, everyone in the world knows that American tipping culture is getting out of hand. That doesn’t mean you can’t introduce another way of “supporting” creators. Mike Ybarra, the former president of Blizzard, shared his desire to tip developers of especially enjoyable games....

fibojoly,

Last time I actually wanted to give money to creators was The Witcher series after finishing 3. It was so mind blowing. And I still had two DLC to play (still not played B&W). And I did not pay full price, because by the time I had finished 2, the third was regularly on sale.
But then I remembered they already are choke full of money and my extra money isn’t gonna go to the devs doing crunch time, it’ll just be more money in their money pool. So I thought, this time, I’ll pre-purchased CP2077 because I absolutely loved the rpg as a teen and they can’t fick that up. But then of course I remembered not to be an idiot. So I waited for a day one full price purchase but well, they fucked that up, didn’t they. And they still made money hand over fist!

What I’m saying is, he can go eat a full bag of dicks. I’ll keep voting with my wallet. And that means good games get my money, good devs also get my money, and that means he’s never gonna get a dime from me, ever again.

What a muppet.

You know who I would actually like to tip? JAV actresses I have wanked to for donkey years without ever purchasing one of their DVDs. I reckon most of those ladies work harder that this twat and deserve more love. And money. But like Gaben said, verily, it’s all a question of access.

fibojoly,

Saw it on Steam the other day and got a bit confused with the three heroes one and the full 100 heroes one. What’s the difference?

fibojoly,

Thanks for that. The way it was presented felt like a paying demo or something, as if I understand, the 3 heroes do appear in the 100.

fibojoly,

Right. The problem is they never want this to be possible because there is mtx involved.
And presumably they don’t want anyone to get anywhere near being able to mess worth that shit.
Perhaps if they made their mtx code completely isolated from the rest, it might be possible, but that would be the first time I hear of a bigass company having a clear modular isolated codebase. Would be nice though.

fibojoly,

Letting Nature do its thing. How beautiful!

fibojoly,

I personally know a gynecologist who, in her thirties, was still uneducated on the wonders of receiving oral sex, on the existence of the G spot, etc. Apparently they don’t really have time for that sort of stuff in the cursus in a lot of countries. Sexual health doesn’t include pleasure, it seems.
Which is to say, unless it comes from personal experience, they won’t be advocating for that sort of stuff.
So it makes perfect sense if that lady is a strict Christian who married her “first love” and isn’t really a medical gynecologist and he’s the typical “i need a wife who’s a virgin so I’ll never gave to make an effort because she’ll never know any better” dude. That poor woman should shut the fuck up though.

fibojoly,

I remember finding this back before the turn of the millennium and my mind being absolutely blown. Such a cool resource back then, for generating adventures!

fibojoly, (edited )

As long as your eyes are only 24fps, it appears.
Edit : I was making a reference, people! It’s an excuse that has been used before!

fibojoly,

Context is always useful, though. Because sometimes the person asking has gone down the wrong path and you could help them see the problem from a completely different angle.

Or maybe that context will let you know that yes, they have to use that ancient tech because that’s what they have to use at work and no they can’t install the latest fancy tech that does it so easily…

fibojoly,

Oh I love that one! Cheers for the explanation !

fibojoly,

First thing you need to realise is that’s it’s random encounters, not random combat.
It’s an opportunity for some role play, for establishing the setting, for dishing out adventure related info, etc.
If you’re only using the concept for more combat, then yes, I wouldn’t see the point either.

fibojoly,

For me it’s always the weird Aphex Twin like rictus that gives it away. Also the fact that every single person has the same rictus instead of a normal crowd where you have a variety of emotions, with some people being completely out of the loop, instead of this Invasion of the Body Snatchers synchronicity

fibojoly,

My colleague and “squad leader” (ie boss without the salary) is a few months younger than me and has been in the same company for about 18 years. Meanwhile I think the longest I’ve been somewhere is about 2 years.

“Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” has me giggling every time.

fibojoly,

Make it a bit more cyber and it would fit right in Shadowrun!

fibojoly,

“Institu-what?” -some HR asshole.

I’m amazed, time and time again, at just how incredibly stupid HR decisions can be. It’s like they have no idea what people do and how difficult how that shit is, and then each company has its own idiosyncrasies, in processes, in frameworks, engines, languages, etc. I’m not even in gaming, and I see it every day, with candidates being taken onboard against the teams’ advice, then being unable to do the most simple tasks in their jobs. It’s terrifying, really. It’s like HR have a vague sense that we do stuff with computers and we cost X per annum and that’s about as far as it goes in their little brains…
