My ISP says my IP is technically dynamic, but it hasn’t changed once in the 6 years I’ve had their service. But that’s for the best, since they’re the only choice for symmetrical gigabit and their only option for static IPs is for business accounts.
So I continue to trust that they won’t change it. Fingers crossed.
I never played the original or P3:P, but I heard they weren’t including some P3:P stuff that a lot of people wanted. Is that true? If so, this kind of seems like a blatant cash-grab from newer fans that are only familiar with P5.
I find that I need to restart VSCode occasionally for reasons similar to this. I write C# daily, and sporadically VSCode will just completely lose track of all namespaces and everything is now a syntax error.
Radical Red is a Fire Red romhack that brings the new Pokemon and mechanics to the old GBA art style. It’s the standard gen 1 story for the most part, but there are a ton of new features and a little story deviation at some points.
I definitely recommend it for old Pokemon fans that are disappointed in the newer entries.
You absolutely can if you have every reason to believe it’s not firing a live round, like say, on a film set, where all weapons are supposed to be cleared with armorers/prop masters.
I love Bazzite, but I wish they would fix the no audio after wake on the OLED. I encountered it often while running the testing release, so I went back to SteamOS to wait for a stable release with the fix. Imagine my disappointment when they released a new stable version with the bug still present. :(
In addition to what’s been mentioned, Bazzite also updates the kernel and graphics drivers more often than SteamOS, so yes, while things are slightly more likely to break every now and then, there are some decent performance gains to be had.
This is why I wrote a Telegram bot that uses yt-dlp to convert videos and send them directly to people. My friend group all use different socials, Facebook, tiktok, Twitter, Lemmy, etc., and the bot will take the link, download the video, then send it back to the person, and then they can forward it to whatever chats they want.
It’s been pretty fucking handy. That is, if your friends use Telegram.
I thought I was getting okay at the basics, but actually visiting Japan taught me that I definitely was not. But I’m starting classes later this year, hope to become fluent eventually.
I’ve searched around, but the only GBA core that seems to exist is spiritualized’s, which doesn’t have RTC support and hasn’t had a release in over a year. I was actually under the impression that RTC support in cores wasn’t possible, but then budude2 just released his GB/GBC core that does have RTC support. So now...
I appreciate the fact that some employers recognize that some of their employees struggle with cognitive disorders. But, asking someone with ADHD to click through a very boring presentation about neurodiversity is almost peak irony. Not to mention, trying to distill such complex disorders down to one sentence is practically...
Interesting, I never considered that having a specific cognitive disorder would mean your brain compensates in other ways, but it makes sense. I have both dyscalculia (which is specifically only number reversal) and dysgraphia, and my reading (words, not numbers), writing (when typing), and verbal skills are definitely above average.
So they’re repurposing surviving pancreas cells to produce insulin like the destroyed beta cells used to, but what are they doing about the autoimmune response? Will my immune system just kill the new insulin-producing cells as well?
I’m still trying to de-Google my life, little by little. I don’t trust Bing for similar reasons. DDG is feeling shady of late. What’s the search engine you all recommend that I can inject into my daily life? Is there perhaps a search engine that is focused on code, or have we just all moved on to AI for searching?...
It’s not that they didn’t know Starbucks secret code (“iced” is a common term to use for putting ice in any drink). It’s that they used alcohol code instead (“on the rocks” is a common term to use for putting ice in alcohol).
Since I upgraded my instance, I’ve been using Photon UI as a PWA and also testing Raccoon for Lemmy. I like Raccoon a lot, but it’s still new and a bit rough around the edges.
