I did not choose to start with VB.net - It was the first thing youtube came up an I think was interesting, because I could start with something GUI.

Today I make enterprise factories go brrr.

Shoud we tell her/him/… about Gnome 45?

First thing I do when getting a computer is setting up the preloaded Linux.

If I buy the M$ Windows crap, they keep making it.

In case you really want/need some more modern drivers/software,… Nobara is also recommendable stable.

Is linux good for someone tech illererate.

Now i’ve been considering moving to linux. I don’t have much of a history using a computer and find it tougher to use than my phone. But I also really appreciate the foss movement. I’ve currently got an old laptop running windows 11 I think and it would prolly speed up with linux too. But I’m afraid I’d fuck smth up...

I really think you would have a great time with either “Linux Mint” because of its rocksolid philosophy of not breaking stuff or shipping “beta software”.

Otherwise a safe option would be a Linux variant with professional support options - just in case you need it. ZorinOS, Tuxedo or Pop_OS! are the most common ones.

Personally i’d take Linux Mint, which in most cases works flawless out of the box. The premium options are nonetheless also great options.

Smart choice! The option to just try it in a safe way with the live USB is a good way to try it.

Also try out some of the themes in the settings 😉 The amazing wallpapers of Linux Mint are so fancy, so I decided to use it on my work Windows PC, which I am forced to deal with ☺️

Nowerdays Nvidia starts to care about Linux an Nobara is doing a great job to care too. There was a long, rocky road to get to this point 😎

It’s not yet a Linux distro :3

FUCK TICKETMASTER (Rant)

I FUCKING HATE THIS SERVICE. Assholes don’t let you delete your account and ask you to go to their privacy policy page and read through 500 pages of text to find the instructions on how to delete your account, only for it to say you have to contact them to delete it, and when you contact them they never respond back other than...

Sounds to me, like a report to the GDPR – Supervisory authority would be a great option.

I put it in respective collections:

  • Completed
  • Gold & Completed
  • Sim
  • Casual
  • Local Multiplayer …

I can confirm the results above. Nontheless, you are right.

It sounds to me like a little excuse not going in all the way now. Hey, no offense here.

I also have a Windows partition, I exclusively use it for the AntiCheat games I already own. I now check in advance if it’s supported and otherwise just skip that game.

Ah, sounds reasonable.
