the amount of people i see saying they would never skip adding achievements to a game project just seems…weird.

like, do people genuinely care that much? i think it’s neat when a game with different endings or whatnot tracks your progress and how well you did based on some parameters (like silent hill’s star ranking system), but i’ve never really cared all that much for achievements or trophies.

hell, the only platinum i have on PS5 is astro’s playroom because it came with our PS5 at launch and it kept me busy while the library built up…and i’ve only ever 100%’d SA2 because i like the game and wanted to do all the challenges, but not for the online gamer points…i was only mildly disappointed by green hill zone :mikulaugh3:

@misha I personally love going for 100% in games, honestly. I think it's a fun challenge to complete for games I really love! A lack of trophies/achievements won't stop me from playing games, obviously, but I've bought HD remasters and such just to try for 100% :btr_ryo_lurk: I understand that I'm not in the majority here though

@misha It's cool when games have that kinda stuff but honestly if I have a desire to 100% a game then that just means that I love the game a lot and just don't wanna stop playing! I just think it's fun. I know I'm a weirdo, I know it isn't important. Sometimes I just like to see if I can do it as long as it's reasonable.

A coworker of mine literally had a heart attack and his supervisor came into my office to somehow make the whole situation about herself and how she basically "saved the day" by calling 911. I'm just worried about the guy but I can't get an answer about him from her...
