@danielkrah I had it in there, but it was like the 7th link. I've bumped it up to the 2nd link, because a few people in comments are also saying they didn't see it.
It doesn't help that YouTube's new layout is trash :(
@geerlingguy I don't know much about IPOs; how do they expect to raise "only" $40M if ARM alone already pledged $35M and Lansdowne up to $20M? Is it an absolute minimum figure in order to not upset the share price if demand is not immediately sky-high? Keep expectations low, sort of thing?
Psst... soft relaunch of my merch store today: https://www.redshirtjeff.com — I'll announce it on YouTube later, but if you like classics like "It was DNS" or "Cosplaying as a Sysadmin", get them now before the wider YT audience makes 'em go out of stock!
@geerlingguy Hm, it seems to keep rejecting my Revolut card(s) after I misjudged how much I had in the account :D Guess I'll try again tomorrow morning and #believe
@geerlingguy I can‘t really grasp it, but Sam Altman really scares me, as he appears to me as the prototype of a rich villain in a dystopian Sci-Fi movie. And even if he isn’t, I don‘t think he‘s up to the responsibility his position requires (similar but different to Elon Musk).
Odd, but cool; this is one of ArduCam's new Pivistation 5 pre-assembled cameras. Good enough for indoor use, but meant for camera development with a variety of their nice Sony sensors.
Been testing review units they sent, they're currently running a Kickstarter.
The workbench is coming together—and Red Shirt Jeff made sure to inaugurate it with a Hacksmith mini lightsaber and a little magic smoke 🫢 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toEvV2QGVnU
HamClock is easy to get going, but (a) any chance there's a retina-friendly option, and (b) is there a friendly fork where the source code is maintained somewhere in git, instead of in tarball-form?
@randy Interesting! I'll have to dig in on that side of things as I explore the various bits of software. So far for SDR, there are a ton of great FOSS options!
