30mm of rain since last night here at Casa Vidrio. Came down pretty hard and steady starting around 9 PM until about 3AM, now only light rain.
Barometer started out around 1014 mB last night and is at 996. 5 mB now and still falling. The high winds haven't materialized here, but we need a straight shot at about 150 degrees, SSE, to really get them where I'm situated. For the moment the wind is from the E/ENE

I'm feeling a tetch under the weather but seem to be improving. If I take it easy today I think I can haul my ass and my telescope (and maybe my daughter) to rockridge tonight. 5 ish? 6 ish? what works for you all? I'd like to not linger more than an hour- unless people really start throwing 20s in my hat.

@DeliaChristina due to some meteorological anomaly, it looks like it'll be halfway clear tonight. Thinking of heading down to the RR Bart around 6 with a telescope to show folks Jupiter. If the air is steady, the Red Spot should be visible.

14C (57F)almost saturated air here at Casa Vidrio with light rain falling, about 2.5 mm in the bucket and still coming down. Not bad for late October in these parts, cut down on fire risk too.
