Well, as an Australian I’d hope they’d not come here either, happy to have refugees and help then out as much as possible but not Americans.

As to brain drain, you come from a country that’s destroying the planet, acts like a spoiled child when it doesn’t get it’s way, (look at the reaction to the ICC arrest warrants for Israel) you’ve created a monster that has little to admire, the “brains” that created all that will hopefully stay there.

This is a country that has threatened to invade the Hague if any US person or allly is indicted by the ICC for example. Churlish doesn’t even begin to describe it, stay there.

I was there once. It was hot and muggy and generally unpleasant.

Seems a fair summary.

Gold Coast (east of the M1 at least) has the beaches and rainforest in the mountains to at least.compensate. I lived and owns an apartment on the ocean there for a few years, as I couldn’t afford NZ, lots of Kiwi’s there as well.

Weird anectode, we used to have 50 acres behind Coffs Harbour (48 acres of bush), when we had excess we’d sell some to the local organic wholesaler. She inisited it was perfect or customers wouldn’t buy it. I was kind of bemused because the only way it’s getting that way in any volume is pesticides.

Another anecdote, we had all sorts of different fruit but they onky wanted the same fruit you get supermarkets, as that was all that sold (apple, bananas, mandarins and oranges…we only had the latter two)
