we don't talk enough about how awful it is when you get up from your television program and think it'll be like fifteen seconds so you don't pause it and then it takes longer to do what you got up for so when you come back you think oh let me rewind because I don't want to have missed something and then you rewind your program and nothing of note happened over that time frame so well maybe you did not have to do that rewinding hmm?

@taber the television lets me find new Wikipedia articles about tv shows I can read the synopsis of so I know if I need to care about it or not (the answer is almost invariably no, although I did enjoy reading about the fallout computer games while watching the fallout tv show)

a lot of cities approximately the size of Little Rock (metro pop. ~800k) are doing really well right now, capitalizing on being able to provide thriving arts and culture scenes and big personality at a bargain price compared to the big brand name cities, but Little Rock itself is definitely not one of those cities
