    @kevbob I don’t think Ireland is ready for it. Northern Ireland wants peace and prosperity, reunification could threaten that. The south would need to change to accommodate the north and I don’t think they are prepared to do that. A lasting peace in Ireland is more important than reunification.

    @kevbob @henrylyne I remember that, and wondered if you were referencing it. But there is a lot of speculation happening now about reunification, especially with Sinn Fein being in power in the North. I just want Ireland to live long and prosper 🖖

    @kevbob Blue Plate in San Francisco usually has a great key lime pie on their dessert menu. They also have great meatloaf and fried chicken, so it’s a whole array of delicious comfort foods.

    Seeing someone promote bitcoin for everyday transactions reminds me of people pushing Linux OS for personal computer use 20 years ago. Few people understand it and even fewer want it.

    1. The largest surge in renewable energy capacity to date in 2023.

    2. Over 200 countries committed to transitioning off of fossil fuels at the COP28 climate summit.

    3. Deforestation in Brazil fell by over 20%.

    4. The ozone layer continues to heal.

    5. Sales of electric vehicles is surging and reached an all time high in the US.

    @kevbob Workday sucks! It can do an ok job of reading some resumes but it really is a terrible application in general. It must be making someone’s life easier but as an applicant and hiring manager in the past, I hated Workday.
