FOSS alternatives to document scanner

I need help finding an alternative for a tool like Adobe scan to scan documents and make PDFs out of them. I’ve tried out OpenScan, while it is decent, the scanner doesn’t recognize the page boundaries that well, and adding new pages requires quite a few clicks, which makes scanning long documents cumbersome. Any help is...

Another tool is paperless ngx. Although it is a bit more than just a scanner Programm.

Das werden wir naechstes Jahr sehen wie es aussieht.

In Thüringen regiert eine Koalition aus Linken, SPD und Grünen ohne eigene Mehrheit. Im kommenden Herbst wird ein neuer Landtag gewählt. Umfragen sehen die AfD deutlich vorn. Von den bislang gängigen Bündnissen ohne die Rechtspopulisten kann keines auf eine ausreichende Mehrheit hoffen.

Ok, das kommt alles wesentlich schneller als ich es erwartet hatte. So einen krassen und quasi deutschlandweiten rechtsruck hatte ich erst später auf dem Zettel.

Da weiss man doch wirklich nicht wo man zuerst hinkotzen soll. Wie soll denn so irgendwas besser werden? Jesus fucking Christ ist das deprimierend, wenn man das mal auf die naechsten 20 30 Jahre betrachtet.

Ich glaube ich muss demnächst einfach mal komplett und dauerhaft auf Nachrichten und social media verzichten, es steht einfach nicht mehr im Verhältnis…

I would say there was some improvement In the last third of season. He wasn’t crashing anymore and was consistent in the time difference (more or less) to albon as well.

On top of that, we just don’t see the data the team is seeing when it comes to an improvement.

One other thing to keep in mind. There is a supposedly very talented new driver starting in F2 next year that could drive for Williams in 2025, so that could play into the decision as well. Although I just looked for it and couldn’t find it. I think Alex Jaques talked abiut it in the last F2 sessions.

The fact that the ccc uses matrix as their official chat “app” doesn’t imply that it is inherently insecure I would say.

One thing that I miss about reddit are the top votes comments on science articles. They would often provide a good explanation of the article from someone familiar with the matter.

I guess it takes a little bit of time, just came to my mind.

Muss mich der Einschätzung ueber mich selbst anschließen. Insgesamt fuer mich eine positive Entwicklung unterm Strich, mehr Qualität statt Quantität und das ist fuer meine Seele eindeutig besser.

Im Moment checke ich noch regelmäßig das formula 1 sub, aber auch bei dieser nische wird die Beteiligung im fediverse immer besser.
