I’ve been having trouble keeping this instance up - right now, it’s a problem with proxy errors between the docker containers as well as with the Ansible scripts. It’s taking too much time to maintain. I’ll be shutting down wayfarershaven.eu per 31 October 2023....

Hey all! My apologies for the fact that the instance has been down. For those who are curious, it turns out that the Lemmy volumes had ballooned and taken up all the space on the server. I’ve reclaimed the space and set a recurring task to make sure that it automatically gets cleaned up going forward....

This looks like it was great fun. Would you take part and if so, which house would you represent?...

It’s interesting to see the breakdown of what she carries - especially the decision to treat her toiletry kit as her junk drawer. I didn’t expect to see a clothesline in there!...

The communities aren’t strictly fantasy related but sharing in case anyone finds this useful. I’ll be following !ebookdeals....

I read the comic a few years back and loved it. When I heard Netflix had picked it up, I crossed my fingers so hard. I’ve forgotten where I saw the comment, but it was something along the lines that the movie is a polished, cleaned up version. I can’t agree more - what a fun, moving, gorgeous treat!...

I added a search option to a community’s sidebar - this will be helpful to find past answers but also to check and see if someone has already asked that question recently....

I’d like to be set as a mod for !fantasy, please. The current mod hasn’t had any activity in the past three years and we’d like to add a banner, icon, etc....

I recently started using a tablet and pen (Wacom Intuos S if you’re curious) for work and I cannot keep track of the pen - it’s slim, black, and blends in with my desk. I know that this is the fountain pen community rather than an ergonomics community, but I bet you all have tips for a pen stand/holder. What do you use to...

We can upload images directly to Lemmy but that does increase the load on the instances. What other services do you recommend? Do you have a go to?
