@shoq Pretty much. Fast fashion itself is just the extreme form of how mass market apparel works in an ecologically destructive and psychologically manipulative way.

People try so hard to make small talk still but how can sane people discuss the weather and not get to “CAN WE JUST SWITCH TO NUCLEAR POWER AND SAVE THE PLANET ALREADY? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST I DON’T WANT TO ALSO LIVE THROUGH A CLIMATE COLLAPSE!” within like three sentences?

@ryanhoulihan The human mind is naturally not serious enough to think about bigger picture situations related to daily life in the middle of chit chat unless they are extremely educated on topics over time.
