Long story short, I have a desktop with Fedora, lovely, fast, sleek and surprisingly reliable for a near rolling distro (it failed me only once back around Fedora 34 or something where it nuked Grub). Tried to install on a 2012 i7 MacBook Air… what a slog!!! Surprisingly Ubuntu runs very smooth on it. I have been bothering all...
I use Firefox and uBlock Origin. Not sure what kind of experience anyone else is having with YouTube, but recently my home page has been empty because I “don’t have watch history turned on”. Okay, fine. I won’t be able to browse suggested videos, and I’ll spend less time on their platform....
The new organization is at github.com/FossifyX. For now all the apps have updates disabled, i’m quite open to alternatives for all EXCEPT Gallery, so i hope the fork goes well, at least from the discussions it looks like it’s off to a decent start.
Of note, the apps on FDroid are still uncrapped so you can still take them from there.
The good thing is that unlike the old QuickPic fiasco, here the apps are GPLv3, so these are 100% gonna be forked, still gonna see if i don’t keep all the eggs on a single basket
When I press on some message to forward it, it shows me Random usernames of contacts I don’t know. And it even shows some Mobile Numbers I don’t know. For example, one number starts with +964 that’s Iraq. I’m from Europe tho. These contacts and numbers are from all over the place....
Oh yeah you should! Cute, charming and i keep suspecting it was a bit of a love note to Calvin and Hobbes because the unnamed girl is just like the little girl version of Calvin 😆
Go blind if possible. Do have in mind that the platforming in most of the game isn’t too hard but there’s points where it does ramp up significantly.
The general consensus among more informed people than me is that they don’t even need to listen in, they get enough accurate information from tracking everything else to not even need to do something as resource-intensive as permanently listening in.
Yes. 99% of what i use YT for these days is to follow the crafters i’ve been following for years, and part of the way to support them is liking and commenting on their videos. That’s what keeps me from moving to frontends or NewPipe.
