@qobi Will try, but as I live in Berlin quick trips to Cottbus on the #Deutschlandticket are not hard, so one summer Saturday I will make a proper trip!
Wegener nervously eating M&Ms here, and there will now be a 30 min pause and not yet a 3rd round of voting to see if Berlin will get him as CDU mayor...
This is right outside the Subway at the Stadler bike store in Friedrichshain. No plates. Clearly not moved in months, maybe years. And there it sits, rotting. Parked on 5 sq m of public ground for free
@jon Tires are still inflated so it indicates it might not be so old.
Is someone living inside is the question. It may ntot have registered plate because owner couldn't afford to keep paying for insurance and move it to a better place.
Before I focus completely on railways for 2 weeks (#CrossBorderRail 2-15 May), I have one lecture about EU communication to give - to politics masters students at the University of Maastricht
Given what Musk has done to Twitter, but also seeing what this has taught us about social media and digital infrastructure, it's going to be an interesting discussion with the students I think!
@jon also they have missed the mon-fri 17:08 SÜWEX from Frankfurt to Mannheim.
(Although I did recommend that one in my Spiegel 9ET Interview because it takes you through all the beautiful river valleys while the sun sets)
@jon and that’s the problem as seen by wissing. With not owning a car you do not contribute to the economy. Who cares about the environment ? You do not deserve a free ticket.
So I have finally sorted out everything for Saturday 13 May during #CrossBorderRail
I'm meeting a transport expert at the DB Museum in Nürnberg, and then meeting activists in Bamberg - if you are based in or near either city you'd be most welcome to come along!
