In my wife’s rabid-spring-cleaning state, she decided to hide all the lightening cables because her iPhone is only USB-C.

Bad news is my magic mouse is not USB-C, so now I am on an in-house expedition to find a cable to revive my not-so-magic-right-now mouse. 😅

I found it annoying yesterday that I couldn’t get the ParallaxBackground on the first try. It took some tinkering. So I went back and tried making my graphics and tried again in #godotengine

It's all about "offset" and "base offset”

I got it on the first try! 🎉

If you need to flip a sprite in #godotengine, you can set the Scale x, y, or both values to negative. This will also flip any children, including collision nodes.

I wish @godotengine had more prototyping nodes like shapes and default tilemaps out of the box.

It would make building demos much easier for folks just getting started.

Finding assets and putting them together might be overwhelming to newcomers.

I would vote for Pete Buttigieg to be president. He’s a competent politician, and his department seems to have the biggest wins for the Biden administration. He’s actively helped folks in crisis in America, made plans to improve things, and has had no significant gaffes or WTF moments.

I would love a Metroidvania for Alien Vs. Predator where you play as a Predator and have to traverse a colonial marines ship trying to find the Queen Alien. You can fight mini-bosses and collect kill trophies for your predator collection.

Could someone make this for me?

I get why people are apprehensive of #JetBrains tooling in #dotnet.

After years of writing code in a solution, you open it and realize you now have to run a marathon through lax code maintenance practices, issues, and errors you didn't even realize you had.

But you have to start at some point, and what better time than now? A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.

It's pretty amazing how little code (and no #JavaScript) it takes to create a #Blazor like counter experience. All with HTML and some C# code.

What’s interesting about #godotengine scripting is that it's very "forgiving" when exceptions get thrown. You can have errors in your logic or references and it will be like “whatevs" and keep going.
