A peaceful thought to have when you are about to die of heatstroke in a fursuit.

He has such an easy fix to the height problem right thereโ€ฆ

Itโ€™s a standard tank toilet, not a commercial grade tankless toilet. Just take the tank lid off, place it next to the glory hole and stand on it.

The tank lid should give him the extra 1.27cm (half inch) to get his dick in the glory hole.

Sorry, my ADHD is at work and over analyzing the whole situation of the comic.

Amazon used an algorithm to essentially raise prices on other sites, the FTC says (apnews.com)

The new excerpts unveiled Thursday allege executives at the e-commerce giant intentionally deleted communication by using a feature on the popular app Signal that makes messages disappear. By doing this, the FTC said Amazon โ€œdestroyed more than two yearsโ€ worth of communications from June 2019 to โ€œat least early 2022โ€...

The FTC didnโ€™t use Signal, Amazon did though for internal communications. When FTC started their investigation, Amazon quickly used the features of signal to delete all their internal communications because they were too spicy for the public and the FTC.

Has HP printers always been this bad? (sh.itjust.works)

So my mother recently bought an ET-2800, By HP we had an HP printer before and we got a new one because the old one would not work with my sisterโ€™s Windows 11 Laptop. So I had to set it up for my mother, the manual said you can use it without the app. But there was no way to physically do that. Anyway, I downloaded the app on...

HP inkjets are horrendous. I absolutely refuse to buy them because they are absolute junk. They have always worked, and I could connect to them with no problems with Android atleast. Windows finally could connect once I had assigned it a permanent local IP through the router. Though Linux had problemsโ€ฆ

But the build quality of HP inkjets are absolute horrendous and I probably can only get 6 months out of them and probably spent more on ink cartridges in a year before the stupid printers suffer a complete hardware failure and need to be replaced.

The HP mfp 183fw colour LaserJet printer howeverโ€ฆ It is my second forray into HP laserjets since my dadโ€™s original black and white Hewlett Packard LaserJet beast from the early 90โ€™s.

But I feel like I got incredibly lucky after doing some research into it (plus only thing I could get locally at the time since I needed a new printer immediately.) It cost more than any of the inkjets I have owned in the past. The toner carts definitely cost moreโ€ฆ But it is still going strong a year and a half after purchasing it and I have only had to replace the black toner cart only a week or two ago. Have not had to replace the colour toner carts yet. It also just works on Linux which I am happy about.

Like I said, I may have just gotten incredibly lucky though, I mean getting a year and a half out of it is still more than I expected and the money I saved because toner lasts much longer than ink.

When and if this printer gives up, I will probably get an Epson laserjet.

Best alternative to OneDrive is NextCloud or OwnCloud.

Though you will need to setup your own server (can be just some old desktop/laptop collecting dust or a raspberry pi) to run either one, plus get your own web domain (cloudflare I recommend for getting one.)

But it is so worth it if you need cloud storage and want full control of all your files.

Always enjoyed Skyrimโ€™s soundtrack, but while I love it, I still enjoy and prefer Oblivions soundtrack more.

Oblivion was my introduction to the Elder Scrolls universe and the music from that game has kinda become embedded in my mind. Just my general go to music for fantasy environments including for DND or Pathfinder sessions.

I love Morrowinds music too, but if I had played Morrowind back when it first came out, I would have ranked itโ€™s soundtrack higher than Oblivions.

I chose Yiffit about a day or two before @Wander opened the instance up for signups. I think I might have been the 6th maybe 7th user to sign up when it finally opened up?

This was during the exodus from Reddit over the decision to outright forcefully get rid of third party apps. And reason I chose it is because none of the other instances appealed to me. Yiffit however, being both a queer and furry instance appealed and Iโ€™ve been here ever since.

All I want from my printer/scanner is to press print, and have it not change its IP address so Windows canโ€™t find it.

Easy fix, go into your router and setup a local static IP for your printer. Sometimes called DHCP IP reservation.

It should give a list all devices and their mac address on your network. Select your printer, then put in the current local IP the printer is using or a new local IP (setting a new local IP will require you to turn your printer off and back on after you save the changes to ensure the new local IP is handed out to the printer.)

Save changes, and you should never have to worry about the printer changing local IPโ€™s ever again.

Hmmmโ€ฆ I personally do not care for [G*] for Andromorph and [L*] for Gynomorph.

Wouldnโ€™t it be just as easy to do [AM] for andromorphs and [GM] for gynomorphs if we have to use two characters to represent them? I mean [AM] and [GM] combined together atleast give us a very good hint at what is meant. Personally I think it would be easier than [G*] or [L*].

For trans characters, it might be easier to tag with the asterisk added. [M*] and [F*] seem to work, because [TM], while it might work for Trans-Male, [TF] could easily be confused for Transformation rather than Trans-Female.

If children connecting and accessing porn websites is such a big problem, why donโ€™t we teach parents how to block them in their router? Instead of funding a company that verifies peopleโ€™s age, the governments could fund the creation of a constantly updated domain blocklist for those pages, and there would be no security or privacy implications.

Donโ€™t get me wrong, I am in full agreement with you on the fact we should trust no one online to send our IDโ€™s in to be verified. The idea is absolutely criminal and reckless. I donโ€™t care if it is being done through a third party that merely gives you a token to access naughty sites.

Itโ€™s all an abuse of power and should be cut off like a cancerous tumor.

But the problems with teaching parents to use a router means you will be limiting them down to one brand of router because every other brand has a slightly different interface. Or we introduce regulations to have a standardized interface across all routers.

And if it is anything like the old apple airport routers or even the Google Wifi or Google Nest routers you need a specific app installed to access their features and functionality.

I am not sure how it is in Europe or the UK, but in the US, not many parents are not technically inclined and not willing to go digging deeper into their router settings or look up ways to use the router to full effect to better shield their own kids from things like pornography.

All that most people know is that router goes burrr and that is it.

They look towards more technically inclined people to help them fix their computers, setup Plex, and maybe setup domain Blocklist if they have been informed about it.

Most people do not want a class teaching them how to use a router to shield their kids from things like pornography. They want the simple and easy solution like a Token system since it takes all the work of protecting their kids off their shoulders.

It makes governments like the US happy because many parents are lazy, they do not want to really raise their kid, so politicians will introduce laws like this because โ€œit is to protect the children!โ€

A dog whistle I am all to sick of hearingโ€ฆ

Packmates.org is ok with NSFW stuff and it is run by our own Lemmy admin @Wander.

Number one rule with NSFW art on Mastodon in general? USE CONTENT WARNINGS! I cannot express this enough. Content Warnings let people know what the post contains and will keep it blurred till they have made an informed decision to click it to see the content that was blurred.

Also be sure to add alternate text that describes what is going on in the image itself. This is not so much for you as it is accessibilities for those with disabilities.
