this is a weird thought in 2024, considering that i left college in 1974 (50 years ago) but, afaik, my grandfather gave me a $5,000 insurance policy to offset my college costs, and i have no idea whether that money was ever released.

how would someone check something like that?

also: how many minutes of college would $5,000 cover these days?

also: assuming i gave money for my grandchildren to attend college, what’s your sense about how much that would help?

#embarrassment Went to the “share your embarrassment” tour tonight in Boston.

Need to apologize to B&A for the obnoxiously-loud laugh of the guy in the #premier section whose laugh sounded like a fucking hyena doing some unpaid foley work.

Spoke to my environmental-consciousness friend today and was reminded of my own baseline understanding that “if you’re not angry all the time, you’re not paying attention.”

Global catastrophe is real, and imminent.

Not conducive to an easy sleep any night, but we need to keep living if we’re to keep fighting.

To keep living we need to have hope.
