Drone delivery doesn’t scale.

At its current range and load capacity, you would need (low guesstimated) at least 25 drones for every one delivery truck. We know AI can’t be trusted, so every 2-3 drones would need a human pilot. Batteries would need to be changed and charged at a depot. Neighbours complaining about the noise.

Sure, for a one-off delivery to a nearby island, drones rock. It’s a very limited use case though. One human in one truck is way more effective.
