Someone told me that non-alcoholic Guinness is actually good. I haven’t tried it yet but it’s worth trying.

If it’s not good, at least it will be worth the story because non-alcoholic Guinness is a bizarre concept.

Ny eier/administrator av .no? Jeg har tydeligvis gått glipp av noe her. Den "gamle" har virket noe demotivert, og har tenkt høyt om instansens framtid, men han hadde tidligere gitt uttrykk for at han ikke så for seg en slik løsning.

Ser ut som @tc har tatt over, ja. Den forrige gav indikasjoner på at han ønsker å sette fokus på andre oppgaver, ja.

Veldig bra at det er satt inn en ny person, og at ikke serveren bare ble lagt ned.

Jeg er uansett motivert for å beholde en god base med norske brukere på Mastodon, så håper @tc sier ifra hvis noe skulle stå i fare hos snabelen.

Airchat seems really promising! Fun to test it today. The concept is based on voice messages, but not like Clubhouse. Far from it, actually.

The posts are actually spoken into as an audio message. Then, the audio message is converted to text. To consume content, you can either read or listen through the feed.

I love it. It's a bit unusual to speak messages among people, but at the same time, I just think of it as a kind of phone call.

Wow whee - just got an email from to say that my yearly subscription price changed from $30 to $50.

Crazy stuff. I get that inflation is a thing; but the site is entirely user contributed data - from the scrobbling of the tracks to editing data and uploading images and links in the database.

And they sell that data to other companies. And haven’t updated their website or apps in so, so, long. The whole thing is pretty much in maintenance mode.

Do you know if it's easy to set up an own Akkomane server with the help of Spacehost? Like, is it as easy as it is to set up a Mastodon instance with the help of masto.host?
