AFAIK —

#Akkoma supports (regular) markdown rather than misskey-flavored-markdown (MFM).

#Akkomane is Akkoma with the #Mangane front-end. (It gives Akkoma (what I feel is) a better user-experience.)

Do you know if it's easy to set up an own Akkomane server with the help of Spacehost? Like, is it as easy as it is to set up a Mastodon instance with the help of masto.host?

It is very easy.

You could get an Akkomane server up and going on SpaceHost in about 5 minutes:

Go here:

https://spacehost.one/akkoma

And then just tap/click some buttons, fill in some forms, etc.

Indeed, it was very easy to get started with Akkomane using @spacehost 👏🏼

A few questions, though:

1. How do I edit my username?
2. Where can I change server name and description?

@kristian @spacehost @reiver @spacehost_help I’m not sure about username. However, almost everything is editable if you go to yourdomain.com/pleroma/admin. Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain.

The username is also editable. We have done just that for you and it should be set now.

Where is it editable? Also, I'm not sure what you mean by having it done, but it seems to me that @hei is not changed. I would like it to be "kristian", not "hei".
