I saw a TikTok recommending putting olive oil in cappuccino. I love olive oil and I love cappuccino, so I was super excited to try it. Can't get over how well it did not work. Somehow combining two things I like turned into undrinkable coffee.
I am going to have to start planning a downsize for Infosec.exchange. The servers are far oversized and donations are starting to wane (which I expected) and we are at a fairly constant level of activity now.
I've been on the customer end of MS E5 security tooling for just over two years now, some thoughts from a SOC manager:
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint = great. Bit false positive prone and noisy, but it's done a really good job at rumbling real world attackers on a regular basis.
Defender for Identity = good. Very false positive prone, feels a bit neglected. Spots real world attacks
Azure AD Identity Protection stack = great. Very good at spotting risky sign ins and malicious IPs
@GossiTheDog same here. MDI saved our asses a couple of times from blind spots/ compromised assets not covered by MDE. MDI is usually quiet, but if something triggers it’s usually the last opportunity before it gets bad.
