The new vertical controller for @qgis will work with the temporal controller. Thanks to Met Office for sponsoring the work and @nyalld for helping in developing the feature:

@underdarkGIS that is correct, in this case, the vertical controller is used for displaying temperature cube data: at each pressure level, there is a set of temperature. As it is pressure, the higher values mean lower elevation! :)

@underdarkGIS The data is a netcdf and loaded as raster and using expressions, the time and elevation are assigned to each band. To display it, we used contour styling for the raster.
