Sometimes it’s the little things that make you respect a manufacturer. I use Coway air filters, which at first-plus-n glances seems like a random Amazon brown-box-serif-font brand. However, they save the most recent operation mode to EEPROM to preserve it across a power cycle, meaning that automating the devices with a smart outlet was trivial.
Today, I had to install a third-party app that actively monitors my computer's audio balance settings and moves it back to center if it ever goes left or right due to a bug in macOS that has existed for at least 3 years. This should be really, really embarrassing to anyone involved with Apple.
@yougenius The pergola’s superposition has already collapsed from my perspective. Instead you are left to explore rationalism; for both of us the pergola appears to exist from our senses. I can build and enjoy a pergola in my mind that approximates that which is overlaid upon my sense mapping of reality, but you only have the utility of one sense to do the same. This is a strong argument for the actual existence of the pergola for me, but weakens the proof of existence for you.
