Obsesses over bikes (MTB, Trials, Dirt Jumpers) Apparently I get hurt too much doing dumb (yet fun!) things on bicycles for a kid in his mid 40's. Before bikes I obsessed over racing cars and go-karts on the track for 10 years.

Got my ride in even though it was 95 degrees outside. Always have to convince myself that I should just go even if it’s hot. Most of the time I’m glad I did. In 80 degree weather I ride this trail in under 50 minutes without stopping or taking a drink of water. But today I made sure I took a few stops to drink and didn’t push myself too hard.

Caught one of the mice that’s been living in my garage for the last few months. Found these neat humane traps online and caught it with no harm.

Released the little guy at a church a few miles away. Did I mention he/she built a nest inside the glove box of my wife’s car? Cause he did. Twice.

There may be more. Trap goes back down tomorrow!

@gedeonm Funny/sad story: I used very similar traps to catch a few mice in my garage years ago when I was living in California. I’d catch them, walk down the street to an open farmland field and release them. Well one of the times I opened the trap door, flicked the trap a few times to get him to leave and as soon as he took off, a hawk flew down and snatched him. That’s nature, but I felt pretty bad for making him such an easy lunch. 😔😅

@manolo 1) Make sure you don't have 2 copies of the app on the Mac (check apps folder for beta). 2) turn all the notification switches off in Ivory's notification settings for 15 seconds or so. If it's still not working, restart your Mac.

@mark how does the subscription stuff work for the mac? do i have to cancel my current subscription and get the one that includes the mac, or is there an “upgrade” process?

@manolo If you download the mac app from the store, it should have an upgrade to universal option (in the onboarding) which will do the correct upgrade process and Apple will process the pro-rated refund on the old sub.
