You can press in on a word to get its definition in a pop up…and uh…you can change fast forward/rewind speed in QuickTime…honestly that's all I can think of.

Pixelmator has been doing features like this for years and they always called them "ML" features (like "ML Super Resolution", "ML Enhance", "ML Denoise"). Now they've shifted their wording to "AI".

Good reminder that "AI" is a buzzword, and not AI things are LLM-related.

Maybe I'm slow, but is there a way to turn off these notifications in Reminders without also turning off notifications for tasks?

I'm sharing lists with my personal and work devices and I get this every single time I add a task. It's maddening.

Sad watching the once absolutely brilliant flow of films from Pixar devolve to a shadow of its former self.

Pixar was a mighty Indie that reinvented the movie industry.

What made this happen? Was it the loss of Steve Jobs? Changeover at the exec level?

@davemark @gruber For sure, their recent movies aren’t my favorite Pixar film either. They captured a unique moment of magic in their first 10 years and you can’t keep that up forever. I just think the reason they needed to do some layoffs likely had more to do with Disney devaluing their work more than people not liking their films anymore.
