Tv and movies don’t look choppy because the shutter speed of the camera smooth out the movement with motion blur. Motion blur in games is instead just simulated and not as effective.
Also as someone else have said a game is interactive and input latency can be as high as 3 frames, which at 30fps would be 1/10s and can be perceived…

I’ll give a different perspective on what you said: dx12 basically moved half of the complexity that would normally be managed by a driver, to the game / engine dev, which already have too much stuff to do: making the game. The idea is that “the game dev knows best how to optimize for its specific usage” but in reality the game dev have no time to deal with hardware complexity and this is the result.

I only tried this with windows which works fine: on restore Clonezilla has an option to rescale partitions on the fly to fit the destination drive. For drivers, windows detect changes and update them the first time is started on the physical machine.

You can try to minimize the time you spend working by getting a remote job or a part time one, or ideally try to pile up some money to take a year (or any time) off if you’re confident that you can get another job after that. Minimize the money you spend on material stuff so that you can work less, or go somewhere on vacation…

Sicuramente il mercato immobiliare ne risente, ma non credo proprio sia questo il motivo… Ho visto datori di lavoro chiedere ai dipendenti di rientrare in ufficio un giorno perché veniva in visita un cliente importante e volevamo avere gli uffici pieni -_- A chi ti assume piace avere il massimo controllo su di te e vederti “lavorare” alla loro scrivania, io almeno non ho trovato altra spiegazione.

Penso che studiare linguaggi nuovi per stimolare la propria curiosità e arricchire il proprio bagaglio sia utile ma mi chiedo anche quanto questo possa effettivamente rallentare l'approfondimento e la padronanza di argomenti più complessi.
Studiare un linguaggio e studiare la programmazione a mio parere sono due cose completamente diverse…ma molti le confondono. Imparare un nuovo linguaggio ha senso solo quando ti serve usarlo.
Per curiosità ho provato su un’instanza che mi sono hostato e a me con quella query trova i risultati corretti! Purtroppo questi progetti funzionano poco su istanze condivise perché vengono velocemente black-listati dai motori di ricerca…
Io ho praticamente lasciato il file di configurazione di default, quindi in inglese, il primo risultato che ho con quella query è: github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy. In effetti provando in italiano i risultati sono come i tuoi , può darsi ci sia qualche problema con il modulo per google, se riesco provo a controllare…
Comunque prima riguardandoci l’unico problema che c’era e’ che avevo dormito poco 😂 “Results language” va lasciato in bianco, altrimenti fa l’equivalmente google di “strumenti -> pagine in italiano” che da proprio quei risultati perche’ toglie tutte le pagine che non sono in italiano… per avere google.IT basta mettere “Site language” invece, ma per ora non e’ tradotto credo…
Eheh purtroppo se guardi su github ci sono dei bug… per resettarlo puoi: 1- cancellare i cookie (a quanto pare tutti, se cancello quelli del sito e basta non cambia niente 🤨). 2- se ti vuoi sbattere ci sono 2 fork che l’hanno sistemato da quel che vedevo…io mi ero copiato settings.php da li: github.com/…/b0f449671d31c185cdfa12ce46ad722398d5… oppure github.com/hnhx/librex/pull/262/files
