The Autobahn leading to Munich has a lot of reminders about keeping a distance of "halber Tacho" but the way people drive here I think "halber Taco" is a common misreading
Whee just a bit of street sexual harassment that followed me inside a place where no one bothered to help, sure feel convinced that men aren't garbage.
Love it, same creepy dude second day in a row. Life is so much fun, can't wait for every new day with more exciting adventures in encountering misogynist and sex pests in the streets.
Overhearing @endocrimes call with Microsoft support feels like such an insight into why people fall for scam calls. Level 2 support is somehow more nonsensical and incoherent than Level 1 was, asking questions that make 0 sense about whether it's a Windows license for Mac or PC, and then demanding access over RDP because how else could they possibly do anything.
It feels like this system is designed to ensure that people fall for scam calls.
Like every single thing the support person is saying is objectively bullshit, and you're supposed to trust them with RDP and admin rights to your system? I dunno, sounds kinda dodgy.
Declaring cold brew season over was a mistake because of how low effort making cold brew is compared to any other source of caffeine ๐ฉ wish making a v60 wasn't so cognitively difficult when I forgot to get coffee for a while
Ah, exciting, apparently what I thought sounded like someone throwing shit at our windows last night was exactly that - our windows are smeared in rotten fruit! I'd like to think this has nothing to do with us having a pride flag hanging outside, but it's 2023 Germany, it probably does.
Why is it so hard to explain to people that their fear of deploying at arbitrary times of day/on arbitrary days of the wek isn't logical but a symptom of terrible systems and underinvestment in your internal tooling? It's like astrology for developers
