Test explorer in Xcode 15 is a crap. I'm so frustrated right now. During the test run the list of tests is refreshing million times. Status of test (green/red boxes) are disappearing. Finding failing tests is a nightmare. Is there any way to fix this? #XCode#Swift
I’ve implemented next cool features in the #Vernissage. One of them is application’s badge indicating new unread notifications (this can be enabled in application settings). Still not push notifications, but better than nothing 😉.
It’s the last feature which I want to implement in the new Version (2.0). Now I need some time for testing and I will send new version to Apple (really soon) 😊.
@PhilipKing Yes, unfortunately it was very difficult to move old settings to new version (because of rewriting many components) and I decided to spent that time on building new features and improving performance.
Today I introduced further bug fixes to #Vernissage. I have also added a coloured indicator to the notification icon to indicate when new notifications have been received.
Today I also spent a few hours with camera on the street, thus I’m happy and tired 😉.
Next week I have to edit these photos and also next week we will have new version of Capture One (software which I use to edit images). I hope that they will introduce great improvements. They are forcing people to switch to subscription model (which is not cheap), so they have to add something significant (or not?).
I made some technical changes to #Vernissage. I switched to the new Observable macro. I use SwiftData instead of CoreData and a new translation system. I also made some performance tweaks. And I'm super happy with the end result. You should be happy also 😊.
Yesterday I set up Xcode Cloud and all builds for specific branch are automatically sent to TestFlight for internal testers. This is awesome 😎. I definitely should have done this a few months ago. #XcodeCloud
Next version of #Vernissage will be the last one before version 2.0. In that version I would like to focus on technical debt. I would like to refactor source code and introduce view models. Then introduce new observable makro and SwiftData models. Also I would like to add in several places TipViews from TipKit and improve performance (especially in home timeline).
Therefore, version 2.0 will be compatible with iOS 17 and later.
I added two new features to #Vernissage. New tag with information about muted boosted statuses and new setting: “Hide statuses without ALT text”. Now few days of test and I will release a new version 😊.
I’ve implemented two new features into #Vernissage. Users will have option to mute statuses boosted by some account (which is done in device) and I’ve improved list of trending accounts. Now accounts are taken from few different lists.
After few days of tests I will send new version to Apple 😉.
New version of the #Vernissage has been sent to Apple. I’m really happy how reblogs (boosts) are working right now in the #Pixelfed. I hope you will be happy with the implementation in the #Vernissage 😉.
Reblogs in #Vernissage tested. I’m really happy with the results. I added four new icons and probably tomorrow I will send new release to Apple for review 😉.
Proof of concept of reblogs in #Vernissage implemented 😊. Now I have to add switch to disable/enable that feature in the application settings and few more days of tests.
@EighthLayer theoretically it's possible, but the question is when I should refresh it? Only when application is opened? I cannot refresh always when home timeline appears, because then each return from status details will force timeline to refresh.
Followed tags almost implemented in the #Vernissage. Great that @dansup has added this feature to the #Pixelfed API! Now tests and soon I will send new version to Apple 😊.
Amazon Prime AppleTV designers excell in harder and harder to use UI every few months. It's hard work to even come up with ideas to make it less intuitive after the last time. Changing subtitles language shouldn't be this hard.
@krzyzanowskim this application is real nightmare. I don’t understand why subscription content is mixed with content that is not included into subscription. The tiles which changes width after few seconds are so annoying that each time when they change the size I want to throw remote control into TV.
@dansup Hey. First I have to finish iPad version and then I will check the backlog. Maybe I will do something with Stories, but I don’t want to promise anything 😉. I’m impressed how many things and how fast you can implement new features and new softwares 👏.
