So in about a week I’ll be presenting my talk “It’s All About Perspective: Making A Case for Generative Art” at .

Just like last year, I may or may not be fighting for my life to stay within 20 minutes. It should be an interesting time! 😅🎨

While there is a theme of art, I’m more inclined to say this talk is more about “learning” in general!

Unfortunately, there is a covid case in my home. We are isolating from each other.

I'm still testing negative. But will continue to test.

I was really hoping we could come through all of this without ever catching it.

@kristinHenry I'm so sorry you're going through that. The same happened to my family about 2 years ago. My husband got it and I didn't. Thankfully, isolating and masking in common areas worked so I never got it! I hope you stay negative and everyone recovers soon!

@kristinHenry And I feel exactly the same as you do about all of this. It was very bizarre getting a degree in public health, learning how things "should" have been done in school, and then graduating and COVID starting literally months later. To see how it was all handled. Just bizarre.

Ahh yes. The struggle between not knowing if I'm undervaluing myself, or if production and shipping costs in 2023 are just that insane and that's what's preventing me from launching a drop ship art store. 🤷🏾

@kristinHenry yeah I agree. My brain is so far gone in how R does things though that things in Python appears overly complicated to me. But that’s just because I’m brainwashed into tidyverse styled coding 🤷🏽‍♀️😅

Me when I was so close to figuring out a difficult nesting/iteration problem from some in , but then its 1am and everything is just a mess and you cant work on it anymore because you have to go to sleep to wake up and spend time w/ your family before vacation ends🥲

@kristinHenry it’s super depressing. My time is limited with the baby now also so it’s so sad when I just can’t figure something out in time. Going to try and write out the problem though and see if I can solve it that way 🥲

Something I don't always remember when making is to change parameters at random just to see what happens. This code is almost identical to the last image, if you make the individual flowers much much bigger so they overwhelm the image.
