obviously companies need to sell stuff, but there's a lot of hardware and soft/SDK friction to be the MacOS space, not to mention expensive, they change & break things too often.

what apple could do to win back my support as a game developer has absolutely nothing to do with the strength of their GPUs and everything to do with notarization and deprecating shit i need as a developer like OpenGL for no reason

@eniko exactly why I’ve stopped bothering developing for iOS. Projects have to be rebuilt within 1-2 years, often with new technologies to learn, new signing procedures, or my favourite was needing to update Xcode, which was only possible by updating the OS…which was only possible by buying a $3000 new Mac. Did it once, but that was the end lol.
