mikehunt,

Haven’t had a samsung phone since the note 3, but I remember having issues with unlocking the bootloader, I think you had to use some 3rd party tool because samsung provided no guide in their manual. With nexus and pixel phones it’s really easy so them I can definately recommend.

mikehunt,

Adaway of course, and wireguard via the proper kernel module.

mikehunt,

According to wireguard itself the kernel-module based backend is more efficient/faster than the userspace implementation, and to use that it still requires root.

mikehunt,

Tesla chargers use CCS just like all others in the EU

Whats the most efficient; Using a fully charged SD when plugged into a 20,000 mah battery bank, or depleting the SD battery then plugging into the bank to continue play?

I have an Anker Powercore that has enough output to charge the SD while playing, so just wondering what is the most efficient method to get the most out of both power sources for long haul flights.

mikehunt,

I have actually never flown on a narrow body plane that had charging ports, so I wouldnt say “most flights”

mikehunt,

Mine has always been super snappy, so something’s definately off I’d say.

mikehunt,

Mostly caching I guess, so less cold starting of apps

mikehunt,

That’s because 2012 was last year, right? A while back steam had a green UI.

mikehunt,

The gels I use have a recommended dosage/intake schedule written on them, but my advice would be to pack at least a small amount of "real" food. If it's hot it could be a good idea to add some electrolytes to your water.

mikehunt,

No yet I think. It' probably best to check the github page for any feature suggestions and add one if it's not already there. Remember that the app is still only in alpha.

mikehunt,

Maybe they had their eyes closed and their fingers in their ears?

What FOSS browsers, do you use on a daily basis on both your mobile and computer for privacy and security, and what measures have you taken to further harden your browser (if any).

Me, I have a low threat model so I mainly try to stay away from proprietary stuff when possible (Chrome, Edge ect) I use an eclectic mix of browsers....

mikehunt,

Firefox on android and desktop. Never had any reason to use anything else.

mikehunt,

msmtp, I'm using purelymail for all my emails.

mikehunt,

Love it. Heard about it from HN some years ago and been using it since. The guy who runs it is super friendly and aswers mails quickly too. And yes, it's super cheap, I'm using the "usage based" pricing or whatever it's called.

mikehunt,

Same! Although my opnsense is virtualized.

mikehunt,

I'm a bit worried about the direction their going as a company for the reasons James pointed out. Although I have to admit I've been wanting a slightly bigger model ever since I got my first one.

mikehunt,

Yup, I always drink one that requires me to add water after. Not that big of a deal, but sure would be convenient to be able to fit it all in the aeropress.
