I’ve listened in on a few talking-head AI panels now, and it seems the universal advice to the problems AI raises is to be responsible about auditing its outputs and correcting for bias, inaccuracy, etc.

@monkeyborg oddly enough that's almost the argument that the aristocracy made about the "commoners" learning how to read.
They believed the commoners wouldn't be able to interpret the written word "correctly" and that their varied opinions would cause chaos.
I trust in the adaptability of humans. So far we've been able to adapt to most technologies. Current tech has widened that gap between adoptability and adaptation, but I think we'll get there eventually. It's what we've done so far.
