No surprise, because he is a male comedian above a certain age with demonstrated pervy tendencies, but Jerry Seinfeld has jumped on the “woke killed comedy” bandwagon.

Sorry to those of you born this century, but all those times you thought you were laughing at something you were actually experiencing a minor seizure brought on by imperfect synchronization of your brain with 5G mind-control frequencies.

Look, if I make a good faith effort to research a law before I decide if Iʼm going to follow it or not, I donʼt think that should count against my plausible deniability of knowledge of the law when I ultimately decide to break it.

A grey Dodge Charger seems like a good choice for a car if you want something with a little bit of muscle you can never use because everyone around you is driving like you’re an undercover cop

I think capitalism is now “late-stage” in a way it wasn’t ten or even five years ago. Can you feel it? There’s something in the air. The money men are all out here killing the egg-laying geese and eating the seed corn.

Love it or hate it, it’s over, folks. And the feudalists and the fascists are making a lot more progress in their revolution than anyone on the left.

Spoon debt is real, y’all. Spent the first two days of this week being mad productive and today staring into space and eating junk food

We always imagine aliens to be these skinny little guys but what if they’re ripped and they invade Earth because their home planet is dangerously low on creatine

Been contemplating giving up on “the news” entirely and focusing on other ways of getting information about the world until journalism stops being broken.

That might be too extreme, so for now I’m going to do my best to get my news only from not-for-profit and independent, locally owned sources.

Funny how “control” usually means making something do what you want it to do, but “self-control” means making yourself do something you don’t want to do.

I got an email from Nextdoor yesterday which used the name of my housing development in such a way as to imply that they were our neighborhoodʼs official messaging board. I probably donʼt need to tell this to anyone on here, but donʼt go on Nextdoor.

I tried a Beggin’ Strip. Pretty sure dogs do, in fact, know it’s not bacon. Could pass as gas station beef jerky, tho

The Matrix 2.5: Regurgitations. Agent Smith clones break into a genetics laboratory and create hilarious variations of themselves, including Bat Smith, Brainy Smith, Spider Smith, Brawny Smith, and a pointlessly man-crazed lady Smith named Smithette.

Can’t say more without revealing where I work, but this week I read about a jaw-dropping bit of experimentation — by an undergrad! — which may allow us soon to visualize what exactly is happening with quantum wave-particle duality. Like in an intuitive, “oh that’s what that means” kind of way, not a “don’t try to understand it, just do the math” kind of way. Very exciting for pop science nerds like yours truly.

The intro video for the new all-electric Boston Dynamics Atlas uses the language of horror movies, particularly movies featuring a robot or doll, in the way the bot is shown unnaturally rising off the floor and rotating its body parts 365° to face the viewer.

Is BD rubbing it in our faces that they are building robots for the defense and police industries that will become instruments of terror?

Or are they oblivious to the connotations and just thought it looked cool?

@Mrfunkedude Generating an EMP large enough to do that kind of damage isn’t easy, and the robots could be hardened against them anyway.

Somebody ought to do a shot-by-shot remake of Point Break, but with Johnny Utah changed to a woman, just in case anyone is still denying the original is a gay romance.

You can gender-swap Tyler (lol) if you want, too. Then as now, doesnʼt really matter one way or the other.
