Can’t say more without revealing where I work, but this week I read about a jaw-dropping bit of experimentation — by an undergrad! — which may allow us soon to visualize what exactly is happening with quantum wave-particle duality. The intro video for the new all-electric Boston Dynamics Atlas uses the language of horror movies, particularly movies featuring a robot or doll, in the way the bot is shown unnaturally rising off the floor and rotating its body parts 365° to face the viewer.
