What’s your favorite keyboard shortcut for #Linux, #macOS, and #Unix systems?
Mine is ^L and ^R

@nixCraft A fairly uncommon one I find quite useful on occasion is Ctrl+S/Ctrl+Q. Being able to pause execution and then resume it later can be nice, especially if I need to save battery on my laptop.

Of course, a well-crafted .vimrc is critical. How else would you maintain that aura of superiority vital for deflecting questions from less-enlightened coworkers? Everyone knows you must have a perfect Vim configuration file before writing any production code.

@nixCraft I prefer init.lua

Just saw a job posting for a network admin who doubles as a licensed plumber. Someone needs to explain this to me.

For the network job: Additional Information Applicant must be a Delaware Licensed plumber

@nixCraft this could have something to do with routing cables through conduits and what licenses are required in the jurisdiction to do that kind of work. Not saying it makes sense, but that could be why.

@beeoproblem @mcc Yeah, pretty sure lead-free solder is required by some environmental regulations(possibly EU).
