havent seen the neighbor's donkey in over a month. miss him dearly. we had a routine of a chat and pets morning and night. today while on the property i was just watching the sun go down and imitated some bird calls. The donkey came RUNNING and we caught up. He kept rubbing his nose against my arm and we just listened to the quiet air and the shuffling of bushes. lovely time
I am horrified by the fact that even though Im the one who is going to be quitting to find better for myself, my reputation here will likely be destroyed because I chose not to conform to my new boss' cultural mindset.

I had a dream that someone took me to an octopus restaurant but didnt tell me until we walked into the dining area. And they said, "this is an octopus restaurant" and even in my shocked state, I immediately located the kitchen doors, ran in, found the octopus tank, stuck both my arms in, they latched on, rescued every octopus i could manage, and ran.
And i'd do it again too
