In the current season of Star Trek: Discovery, there have been two lines of dialogue that have made me want to throw something at the TV, both of which involved the same word, "solve", used as a noun, and both uttered by Captain Burnham.
"Do we have a solve for this?"
"OK, so what's the solve?"
What sort of fresh hell is this? What's wrong with the perfectly cromulent word "solution"? The writer(s) responsible for this abomination should be sacked.
@joeygibson
And I thought I misheard that being a non-native speaker... I did not know this "is a thing". So, at least this explains it for me, but I find it pretty awkward hearing it...
Not thrilled with the paste print quality, very inconsistent. the top left corner was way too thick as the board flexed during printing, the middle BGA skipped some pads, and the WLCSP in the bottom right was near perfect.
These big boards bend too much in my paste fixture, I need to find a way to prevent that before I do any more boards of this scale.
@azonenberg
Is that with the two color epd or did you already switch it out for a b&w? I remember using a crappy two color one as well and didn't get it working acceptably fast...
@ktemkin
Although these look nice, I noticed your T962 in the background. Are you satisfied with it? I'm looking at these for a long time, but couldn't convince myself to get one for the extremely low volume PCBs I make at home... I guess you upgraded to on OSS firmware? Any other mods you did?
I think ever developer bounces around between wanting a fancy IDE with all the things, and just a clean & fast text editor where we can type the code and that's it, nothing else.
Reworked all the bridges on the ESD diodes that I found during initial visual inspection, and tidied up a few bulk caps.
Did continuity tests to sanity check on each power rail and nothing is shorted.
Gonna start populating the front side after the little one goes to sleep. Should go faster than the back since it's mostly large ICs not hundreds of 0402s.
