Fallout criticized most political systems. How capitalism devalues humanity to the point where they’ve turned you into an object of experimentation in underground bunkers while their wars destroy the world. That communism was flawed in its lust for power and dominance so much so that the end result was the same. No matter the side you’re on, war never changes. And in reality, being good, and honest, and decent is up to every individual to make that decision for themselves.

I think the obvious option is to defederate. Meta has a long history of data farming and strict content control. The latter especially I know would make many activitypub users angry. Zuck makes a new Twitter? Alright, are you allowed to post boobs? Probably not.

But yeah, obviously I can’t tell instance owners what to do, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to federate with Meta.

In previous statements, Microsoft has downplayed the deal and claims that Activision Blizzard doesn’t have “must have” games.

That’s … that’s a really huge kick in the face to a company that once held the title of biggest MMORPG in the world (at least on Blizzard’s side of the table, don’t really care about CoD that much). But I’ve been saying Blizz should’ve gotten WoW onto consoles by now, because ESO is beating their asses in that department.
