Besides being much more numerous, more heavily armed, and more hateful, White supremacist antisemites got closer to state power under Trump than they'd been in a long time. The antisemitic fringe in the Gaza solidarity movement has none of that.

@academicchatter How have we ended up with a norm where people regularly write papers where Hypothesis 1a is "A is true" and Hypothesis 1b is "A is not true" and claim to be doing hypothesis testing? How can it possibly be a hypothesis test if all possible outcomes confirm a hypothesis? Why not just have a research question?
