    What.the.heck.

Google authenticator wants to upload all my 2FA secrets to their cloud. Are tou freaking kidding me?!??

Yes you can disable it, but if you're not really paying attention, this is going to happen, because it's the default

I'm in disbelief here. I don't think they do this of mischief, but this idea is just bluntly stupid.

@martijn I'm backing them up to a separate device, so even if one of them get's lost, I have them. And the recovery codes are stored encrypted elsewhere.

The authenticator app has one task to do and should by design never ever access the internet or upload those keys somewhere. WTF?!? Even thinking about that makes me angry.

For me this was a trust failure. You don't do that. One step closer to De-googlifying my devices.

That's a good way of pissing security-ware people off.

Hello people. Anyone has an idea how to make Jitsi calls from my parent's TV in a very user friendly way?

I would like to improve our online family meetings and make it very easy for my mom to connect to Jitsi, preferably from their family TV. I'm willing to buy some hardware, but the setup should be in a state that runs without much maintenance (remote only).

Anyone has a good setup idea on how to implement this? Boosts appreciated.
