When I'm asked to screen candidates for hiring, I find your codeberg/gitlab/github account far more interesting than your CV. Or bugzilla tickets. Or pull requests, even if they got rejected.

Not having any account on any of those code collaboration platforms is a big bummer when applying for a FOSS company.

I use wireguard since 2-3 years to secure connections between different sites I manage. So far I haven't encountered any issues, once it works.

Shoutout for how awesome wireguard is. It runs so smoothly that you will totally forget about it. That's how good software should be.

I'm just waiting for the first pay-in data holes in the current LLM and image generation products.

Like Mr. Thiel throwing a bunch of money at OpenAI, such that some "unpleasant" parts of information won't be there. Pay-in information gaps.

Or that there will be no image material of Mr. Facebook in the training material.

If you think that closed proprietary data sources won't be capitalized, then I've got some nasty predictions for you.

Capitalism corrupts and needs oversight. Always.

Das ist nichts neues.

Die https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollerbank ist schon lange ein beliebtes Werkzeug, um gegen frisierte Motorroller vorzugehen.

Das Snorfiets ist eigentlich ein Mofa, aber speziell in den Niederlanden ist der angeblich auf 25 km/h begrenzte Roller sehr weit verbreitet gewesen. Es werden nur weltweit keine 25 km/h-Roller hergestellt, sondern lediglich 45 km/h-Roller. Bei der Wartung kann es dann oft vorkommen, daß der Begrenzer herausfällig oder beschädigt wird.
