As if gender ideology is a thing. Its on the same line as saying people believe in “transgenderism”. Its just being trans or gender non-conforming/genderqueer. These people think they even know what they are talking about when they haven’t the slightest clue whatsoever.

i did not post this to make anyone’s day worse but i understand that intention does not override impact. i only posted it because as a trans person, i want the community to be informed and aware. i truly am sorry if this activated negative feelings in you and affected your mental health.

as far as what it can and what i hope it achieves: discourse and rallying against political forces that are not going to go away with our inattention.

Just like how Israel was going to attempt/commit genocide regardless of what Biden did.

We sanctioned russia for what they did in Ukraine. Personally, I am disgusted but not surprised that we are actively funding this genocide with our taxpayer dollars. Genocide is being done in our name. I’m not about that and i don’t most americans are either.

Most people know that with all things- there something called “nuance.”

Most people don’t want to be a party to genocide. If you do, you can give money directly to israel if you want but we will keep pushing the issue that we shouldn’t be paying for ethnic cleansing, genocide, coups, and all the other shit that this govt gets up to. Its not like any of that is new either. America was originally a colonial project just like israel.

Bidens disapproval rating was already over 55% before Oct 7th. This made it worse obviously. I think he can win by a landslide and actually get more approval than he had before if he just calls for a permanent ceasefire.

Yes, defend current atrocities now because “the past was worse”. Wait, people couldn’t own things before America? There have always been docile people as well so I think you may just be exaggerating on those points.

America isn’t the only superpower though. And why do you think they are such a superpower? Could it be because of all the free prison labor we have and all of the unpaid labor that went into US infrastructure both during and after slavery was abolished?

The world doesn’t have to be half terrible and if the US is such a good powerful supernation, why doesn’t it fix the very problems that it causes? I think its because the US is an ultra-capitalist empire and requires all of the suffering it takes to maintain that empire.
